Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for freelance interpreters to work within various settings such as the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organisations. As a freelancer, you will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret for individuals using legal, health, and local government services with 100% accuracy
  • Verify the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence
  • Engage in conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
  • Handle highly confidential information with discretion
  • Liaise between the service user and service provider effectively
Requirements
  • Fluent in English and another language
  • Possess the right to work in the UK
  • Aged 21 or over
  • Hold formal qualifications such as:
    • Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
    • Community Interpreting
    • NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration
    • Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages

Estimated Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
