Delay Analyst

Gold Group is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our dynamic consultancy in Manchester. As a Delay Analyst, you will provide planning and delay analysis support to clients on a diverse range of commissions within the UK construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop project schedules, incorporating all necessary activities, resources, and constraints.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to gather necessary data and information for accurate project planning.
- Support in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules using planning software tools.
- Monitor project progress, track actual versus planned performance, and report on schedule variances.
- Contribute to the identification and analysis of project risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
- Prepare progress reports and presentations, providing clear and concise information.
- Conduct site visits to gather relevant project information and gain practical construction industry experience.
- Hold a construction-related qualification - Degree / HND / HNC.
- Basic understanding of construction planning principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with planning software tools is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project stakeholders and team members.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach, with a willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
