Job Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate care assistant to join our team. As a care assistant with Home Instead, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients, providing them with the support and care they need to live independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation and activities to reduce loneliness and build meaningful relationships.
- Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
- Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take prescribed medications on time to maintain their health and wellbeing.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare healthy meals based on dietary needs to promote nutrition and hydration.
- Household Help: Perform light cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Transportation: Assist with errands and appointments to promote access to essential services.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced care environment.
- Personable Nature: Display a genuine willingness to prioritise the well-being of others.
- Valid UK Driving Licence: Possess a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work-related purposes.
- Right to Work in the UK: Hold the legal right to work in the UK.
Salary and Benefits
