Rowner Surgery is a dynamic and innovative practice located on the border of Gosport in Hampshire. We are seeking a Salaried GP to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care to our population of 9,300 patients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Salaried GP who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and is committed to working collaboratively as part of a supportive team. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Face-to-face, telephone, and video appointments with patients
  • Clinical administration work
  • Clinical triage
  • Supporting the wider clinical team
  • Prescription signing
  • Mandatory training and CPD
  • Peer reviews

Person Specification

  • Fully qualified GP
  • GMC registration
  • On medical performers list
  • Enhanced and disclosure and barring service check
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work within the changing structures of the NHS and work to the requirements of other regulatory bodies

About the Role

This is a salaried position, and the contract will be the standard BMA model for GPs. We offer a competitive salary, indemnity, 6 weeks annual leave, and 1 week study leave. You will be part of a supportive team of 3 GP partners, Advanced Nurse practitioner, practice nurses, PCN Pharmacist, and an in-house pharmacy technician.
