AQA and AQA Affiliates are seeking a skilled Exams Officer Training and Development Manager to lead the development and implementation of an innovative Exams Officer Training Strategy. As a pivotal member of our team, you will collaborate across departments to design, deliver, and measure training programmes that empower Exams Officers, reduce failure rates, and elevate the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Exams Officer Training Strategy, leveraging data-driven insights to inform training improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and deliver training programmes that meet customer needs.
  • Analyse complex data to inform strategy and drive training improvements.
  • Manage multiple projects and work accurately under pressure to ensure timely delivery of training programmes.
  • Build and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external partners to negotiate and maintain stakeholder buy-in.

Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of training delivery: experience in delivering both online and face-to-face training, particularly within a regulatory environment.
  • Exams Officer experience: have experience of working with centres delivering general qualification exams series (e.g. High Schools or Colleges). Ideally as an Exams Officer.
  • Customer-focused mindset: committed to placing customers at the heart of your decision-making.
  • Data analysis expertise: ability to analyse complex data to inform strategy and drive training improvements.
  • Stakeholder management skills: proficient in negotiating and maintaining constructive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Excellent communication skills: capable of clearly articulating complex issues to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organisational abilities: ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple projects.
