Pension Payment Procedures and Pension Adjustment Department

The Pension Payment Procedures and Pension Adjustment department is the interface that controls and coordinates the correct, regular payment and adjustment of pensions from a technical and IT perspective. This area also develops and coordinates procedures and projects for exchanges with authorities and courts.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Organize, coordinate, and further develop the pension payment process in legal and IT matters, including recovery of overpaid cash benefits, mortality data reconciliation, and digital document exchange.
  • Participate in the pension adjustment process.
  • Be responsible for and further develop quality assurance.
  • Represent the division and the DRV Bund in national and international, internal and external working groups and specialist groups.
  • Analyze the consequences of planned and actual legislative or other legal changes.
  • Prepare reports, statements, and decision papers.
  • Participate in workshops, information, and training events, and give specialist presentations.
Your Profile
  • A successfully completed university degree in the field of social insurance, public administration, or a comparable course of study, or an equivalent qualification, such as Fachwirt*in, or completed vocational training in the administrative or IT field with relevant professional experience in the field of activity.
  • Several years of task-relevant professional experience.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of social security law and related areas of law.
  • Experience in coordinating and controlling work processes is desirable.
  • A confident, communicative manner, an independent way of working, and a willingness to travel occasionally round off your profile.
