About the Sales and Administrative Coordinator:

A rare opportunity has opened up to join a small but well-established business in a large-scale industry. The company operates in a niche market, providing high-quality products and technical support to its customers. With over 30 years of trading experience, the company enjoys healthy year-on-year sales growth.

You will be joining a small team of 5, requiring previous experience working for a small employer where responsibilities were varied and juggling multiple tasks was second nature. The package includes:

A salary of £28-30k, an annual profit-related bonus of 10%, pension, 4pm Friday finish (standard hours 8.30am-5pm), parking on site, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Key responsibilities of the Sales and Administrative Coordinator include:

  • Coordinating and processing sales, including suppliers, customers, and shippers
  • Raising customer invoices
  • Managing machinery and invoice tracking
  • Liaising with accountants
  • Bookkeeping, including collating and forwarding invoices to accountants
  • Credit control
  • Maintaining databases with customer and machinery data
  • Supporting events and activities, including company car administration
  • Planning quarterly team meetings and minute-taking
  • General office duties, including overseeing facilities and assisting the spare parts team as required

Requirements for the Sales and Administrative Coordinator:

  • Previous experience working for a small employer with varied responsibilities (an office supervisor role or similar would be ideal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with other software packages
  • Basic accounts experience would be an advantage
