About the Role:

Fusion Lifestyle is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Class Instructor to join our team. As a Fitness Class Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fitness classes to our members, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver fitness classes according to the program timetable, ensuring classes start on time and run smoothly.
  • Provide personalized attention to members, offering options and realistic goals tailored to their needs and abilities.
  • Manage class bookings effectively, collecting and maintaining accurate attendance records.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of sessions, including equipment setup and take-down.
  • Contribute to the development of safe and effective programming, suggesting innovative ideas to meet member demands.
  • Champion health and safety policies, maintaining a clean and safe environment for all members.
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with the role, including maintaining records and reporting.

Requirements:

  • REPS/CIMSPA Level 2 qualified and registered (essential).
  • Relevant and specific qualification for your chosen discipline (essential).
  • Experience delivering classes in a comparable role.
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and the ability to apply it in the workplace.
  • Excellent communication skills, including listening, questioning, and delivering effective feedback.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their fitness goals.
  • Good numerical and written skills.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service to a diverse member base.
