We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students with ASD and/or Speech and Language needs.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver high-quality support to students with ASD and/or Speech and Language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Collaborate with the SENCO and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective support system.
- Proven experience working with students with ASD and/or Speech and Language needs.
- Strong knowledge of educational theories and practices related to ASD and Speech and Language.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
