SEN Support Assistant

Academics is seeking a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join their team at a lovely primary school in Bracknell. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN children, particularly those with ASD or ADHD.
The SEN Support Assistant will work closely with the teaching staff to provide individualized support to pupils with complex needs. This may include supporting children's behavior in the classroom, helping them understand teacher instructions, and working one-on-one with learners in the Learning Support department.
The school values teamwork and staff well-being, and the SEN Support Assistant will be an integral part of this team. The role offers a competitive daily rate of £80-90 and a full-time schedule from 8:30am-4pm.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting children's behavior in the classroom
- Assisting with lesson planning and delivery
- Working with individual learners in the Learning Support department
- Recording pupil progress and contributing to team meetings
