Quality General Operative

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality General Operative to join our team. As a Quality General Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of product safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct product safety checks, including outturn, weight checks, metal detection, and labelling checks.
  • Complete monitoring documentation and upload data to the company communication portal.
  • Ensure product changeovers are undertaken according to company policies.
  • Manage label printing and issuing.
  • Conduct routine quality checks, including cooking up products and assessing them against product requirements.
  • Collect and organise samples for external analysis.
  • Perform in-house chemical, speciation, and allergenic testing.
  • Undertake pre-start-up checks.
  • Ensure that all taste panels, shelf lives, and organoleptic testing are completed and recorded in line with company procedures.
Requirements:
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a 'can-do' attitude and keen to learn.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise tasks, and maintain excellent attention to detail.
