Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Norbrook Laboratories Limited. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with in-house requirements, cGMP, and legal regulations/standards.
  • Complete and review associated GMP documentation before forwarding to the batch release team.
  • Perform destructive testing in accordance with in-house standard operating procedures.
  • Report and handle finished products that fail to meet pre-set limits, including quarantine, re-inspections, and other necessary actions.
  • Provide quality support and guidance to ensure all activities within the Vial Inspection Area are conducted in accordance with in-house procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education to a minimum of GCSE level or equivalent with passes in English and Maths Grade A-C.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP and cGDP requirements within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions.
  • Ability to work on their own initiative and prioritize their own workload to ensure department targets are met.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across a chosen range of inter-departmental levels.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Previous experience of quality assurance, including but not limited to AQL inspections.
  • Previous experience of packaging/production operations.
  • Good knowledge of quality standards.
