Asbestos Consultant

Main Responsibilities

• We are seeking a highly skilled Asbestos Analyst to join our team at NW Recruitment Ltd. As an Asbestos Analyst, you will be responsible for carrying out asbestos surveys and inspections across various locations.
• Air monitoring and airborne fibre counting form an essential part of this role, ensuring the highest level of safety for all individuals involved.
• Inspecting contractors' remediation work and signing off removals as part of the 4SC process is also a key responsibility.
• Familiarity with relevant legislation and guidance, such as HSE and construction regulations, is crucial in this position.
• The ideal candidate should have experience working within a UKAS accredited organisation and be familiar with documents like Lab 30 and RG8.
• Maintaining personal QHSE documentation and adhering to internal assurance processes is vital for success in this role.
• Providing exceptional customer service and specialist advice where necessary is also a requirement.
• Effective communication with clients, management, and team members is essential in this position.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• BOHS P402, P403, and P404 qualifications or equivalent RSPH certifications.
• Working knowledge of HSG 248 and HSG 264.
• Full UK driving licence (manual).
• Flexible approach to travelling and out-of-hours working.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
