Job Overview

NW Recruitment Ltd seeks a skilled professional to fill the role of Asbestos Analyst. This position involves conducting comprehensive asbestos surveys and inspections, ensuring a safe working environment, and promoting compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.

This opportunity offers the chance to develop expertise within a UKAS accredited organization and gain experience with key documents like Lab 30 and RG8.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively independently or as part of a small team, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out asbestos surveys and inspections across various disciplines.
  • Conduct air monitoring and airborne fibre counting to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Evaluate contractor remediation work and authorize completion or reject unsatisfactory efforts.
  • Maintain personal QHSE documentation and adhere to internal assurance processes.
  • Deliver exceptional client service and provide expert advice when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Hold BOHS P402, P403, and P404 qualifications or equivalent RSPH certifications/Certificate of Competence.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of HSG:248 The Analysts Guide and HSG:264 The Survey Guide.
  • Possess a full UK driving license (manual).
  • Show flexibility in traveling and willingness to work outside regular hours.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic, capable of performing effectively individually or as part of a small team.

Salary Range: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum
