Job Title: Automotive Homologation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Homologation Specialist to join our UK team. As a key member of our Homologation team, you will be responsible for delivering homologation activities across our existing client base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out and deliver homologation activities across the existing client base.
  • Client-facing, customer-focused role working across a wide range of vehicle manufacturers (Categories M, N, L and O).
  • Generate opportunity proposals in line with IDIADA's technical scope related to the project execution, under supervision.
  • Witness testing at manufacturer locations or testing laboratories for homologation.
  • Purpose, preparation and presentation of test reports.
  • Support the Senior Homologation Engineers to prepare the required homologation tests and to carry out these tests.
  • Keep updated about all the innovations, findings, news and regulations changes in their field.
Requirements:
  • Previous automotive or homologation experience essential in activities such as:
    • Commercial Vehicle Approval (desirable).
    • Passenger Car Passive & Active Safety (essential).
    • Knowledge of ADAS, Cyber Security and Software update systems and GSRII requirements (desirable).
  • Knowledgeable in type approval regulations, technical and safety requirements.
  • Keep updated with the latest innovations and news in the automotive market.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Other languages will be an asset.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (other relevant engineering disciplines or experience will be considered).
  • Practical knowledge of the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of Automotive OEM processes.
  • Sales/Engineering/Technical knowledge.
  • Commercial, costing, engineering or programme management knowledge.
  • Full driving license is essential.
