Job Title: HGV Technician

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Biffa Waste in Truro Depot. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste management handling equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste management handling equipment
  • Scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections
  • Meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements
Requirements:
  • Fully skilled having achieved a full level 3 HGV / PSV apprentice qualification/City and Guilds Qualification/NVQ Qualification
  • Technician level
  • Minimum of a car/van driving licence
  • HGV licence desirable
  • IRTEC Qualification desirable
