About the Role

We are seeking a skilled automotive technician to join our team at First Bus. As a senior vehicle maintenance specialist, you will be responsible for vehicle fault diagnostics, servicing, and repairs in accordance with First Bus Standard Engineering Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vehicle fault diagnostics, servicing, and repairs in accordance with First Bus Standard Engineering Operating Procedures
  • To fully comply with all HS&E legislation along with Group Policies
  • To fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures
  • Maintain and develop technical skills as required

Working Hours

The shift will be a rotating 5 over 7 days, earlys (06:00 14:30) and lates (14:30 23:00)

Pay and Benefits

Basic pay rate: £16.99 p/h, with overtime pay rate: £25.49p/h

About You

  • Do you have a minimum Level 3 NVQ standard qualification and experience with HGV or PSV vehicles?
  • Do you have a flexible approach to working hours?
  • Do you have an aptitude to develop others within an Engineering Team?
  • A PCV licence is desirable, and not a deal breaker, but are ability to obtain PCV licence is essential
