Join Our Team as a BPA Pricing Analyst

Oliver James is partnering with a leading insurer in the BPA market to support the growth of their pricing team. As a BPA Pricing Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of transactions of various sizes. This team has a high job satisfaction rate and excellent culture, resulting in very little attrition. As a result, we only support them when they need to grow, which is a common occurrence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of pricing strategies for BPA transactions
  • Collaborate with the team to analyze and interpret data to inform pricing decisions
  • Contribute to the creation of actuarial models to support pricing analysis
Requirements
  • Part-qualified actuary with a strong understanding of DB pensions
  • Experience in pension risk transfer (buy-ins/buy-outs)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

This role is ideal for a part-qualified actuary in consultancy looking to move in-house. Candidates from rival BPA providers in pricing roles are a priority hire for the team. Any pensions actuaries with pension risk transfer experience could be a good fit for the role.
