Job Summary:

Cameron Clarke Associates is seeking a skilled Heating Engineer - Service & Breakdown Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing and heating division, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and repair work to our clients in the Greater Manchester area.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Heating Engineer with a strong background in domestic plumbing and heating. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of diagnosing and repairing complex heating system faults, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faulty gas and electric central heating boilers and gas fires
  • Repair vented and unvented, direct and indirect hot water systems, including economy 7 controls
  • Fault finding on domestic plumbing and heating systems, boilers, and controls
  • Servicing of a wide range of gas appliances, hobs, unit heaters, gas fires, boilers, etc.
  • Trace and repair water and gas leaks
  • Plumbing repairs and leaks on sanitary-ware and kitchens
  • Basic electrical repairs where necessary

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of domestic plumbing and heating experience
  • NVQ 2 & 3 plumbing desirable
  • Good patience, ambition, and initiative to correctly identify faults on your first visit to a property
  • Knowledge of boiler components, able to test thermistors and circuits within a boiler
  • Knowledge of Y plan and S plan systems, and ability to identify pipework correctly
  • Valid ACS certificates with 12+ months remaining, including CCN1, CKR1, CENWAT, HTR1 & CPA1
