We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join our team at AGM Construction Recruitment. As a key member of our property development team, you will be responsible for delivering cost consultancy services on a range of new builds, refurbishments, and programmes of work.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Quantity Surveying/Cost Management services on projects from inception to handover
- Support the lead QS/EA on projects, providing service delivery
- Responsible for pre and post-project commercial management and reporting
- Prepare client cost reports and report on change during the life of a project
- Assist in developing client relationships
- Experience of either JCT or NEC contracts
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal staff
- Mentor trainee, assistant, and graduate colleagues
- Experience with private and public sector clients
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Ideally MRICS or similar accreditation
- 3+ years working in a professional consultancy environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other role-related software packages
- IT skills, such as BIM/CAD measure, Cost Planning software
- Ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Confident, outgoing, with a drive to succeed and develop
