Senior Management Accountant

We are currently assisting a well-established client who is seeking a Senior Management Accountant on a full-time, permanent contract. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in producing financial reports, managing project profitability, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
Key Responsibilities:- Comply with all company Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Employee requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Assist the PMO in accurately reflecting projects and their profitability, and support fortnightly project reviews.
- Help develop reports for monitoring spend and performance in the supply chain, and report on cost-down programs.
- Produce monthly management accounts, including variance to budget, and a monthly reporting pack.
- Prepare information for monthly Board Meetings.
- Ensure weekly financial and project information is produced accurately, including reports for managers.
- Produce a weekly cash flow forecast.
- Attend and present at weekly SPT & CMM meetings and commercial reviews.
- Develop reporting for SPT projects to ensure profit margins are met.
- Review and ensure efficiency in processes within AMS & SAGE.
- Conduct monthly routines in SAGE & AMS in a timely manner.
- Monthly visits to another branch to ensure procedures are followed correctly.
- Assist with the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and budgets & forecasts.
- Provide cover for the Finance Team, including administrative tasks.
- Essential experience with an integrated computer system.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good telephone manner.
- Desirable experience of SAGE 200.
- Expert user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent telephone manner.
