About the Role

Ardmore Group is seeking a skilled Project Quantity Surveyor to support the Senior Surveyor in the day-to-day management of commercial activities for a major hotel fit out project in Southwest London.

Main Responsibilities

  • Procure sub-contractors and consultants while ensuring costs are within budgetary constraints.
  • Analyse tender returns, attend pre-start meetings, and submit order placement recommendations to the Senior and/or Managing Quantity Surveyor.
  • Administer sub-contractor, consultant, and supplier claims, and manage final accounts in accordance with the company's commercial interests.
  • Attend design team meetings to ensure compliance with contracts and minimize unnecessary costs.
  • In the absence of a Senior Quantity Surveyor, carry out their role and inform the Managing Surveyor and/or Head of the Commercial Department of any difficulties.

Requirements

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying.
  • Chartered member of RICS or working towards.
  • Excellent knowledge of Standard Forms of Contract (JCT) and Standard Methods of Measurement.
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations (including Part B).
  • Knowledge of NHBC Standards.
