Job Title: Deputy Nursing Home Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at TRCGroup. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of our nursing home, ensuring the provision of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing operations within the home to reach or exceed goals.
  • Oversee the care staff and assume full management in the event that the Home Manager is not present.
  • Train and supervise care staff in all facets of their work.
  • Help the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments of residents and ensure that each resident's care plan and daily records are kept up to date.
  • Foster effective communication with the residents' families and other organisations.

Requirements:

  • NMC registered nurse with relevant experience.
  • Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing team.
