Solar Sales Executive

We are seeking a skilled Solar Sales Executive to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for forging strong relationships with EPC Contractors, Design Engineers, Program Leaders, and Procurement. Your primary objective will be to increase the company's engagement with EPC Contractors on large-scale solar farm projects while handling technical and commercial inquiries from your customer base.
You will work closely with our internal teams to understand customer project needs and provide guidance on the best-proposed solution. With a consultative sales approach and excellent communication skills, you will build trust with customers and drive sales growth. Self-motivation and a willingness to travel are essential qualities for this role.
Benefits: Our package includes a competitive salary, company car, up to 12% pension contribution, subsidised BUPA healthcare, and employee assistance programs. You will also receive training and further education funding as well as 26 days' holiday (rising with service to 36 days) + public holidays.
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should have at least 3-5 years' experience in technical sales, preferably in the renewable energy sector. A related education is beneficial but not essential if you possess the aptitude to learn. You must be comfortable with longer sales cycles and have a strong understanding of electrical engineering products or systems.
