DevOps Engineer - Software Delivery Specialist: Ageas is seeking an experienced and result-driven DevOps Engineer to work as a part of a cross-functional team, with hands-on experience as DevOps engineer working within the organisation's software development lifecycle. This role heavily focuses on day-to-day technical DevOps aspects to deliver faster and safer continuous high-quality software to business.

Main Responsibilities as DevOps Engineer:

  • Take ownership of creating and maintaining existing CI/CD solutions to meet build, test, release, and deploy & security requirements.
  • Manage and perform application build, package, and software release management process to deploy to all environments.
  • Hands-on proven experience in developing standardised, automated build & release processes to support agile delivery methodology.
  • Define, create & manage application software code branches to support application branching approach. Experience with source code management system Git is essential.
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors for application support pertaining to DevOps and production deployment.

Skills and experience you need as DevOps Engineer:

  • Demonstrable experience (at least 5 years) as a DevOps Engineer. Experience with EIS policy admin system will be highly desirable.
  • Proven experience and knowledge with a wide range of DevOps toolchain – Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Git / GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Selenium.
  • Experience with cloud technologies – Azure Kubernetes, App Services, Azure Functions etc. and proficiency in managing cloud-based infrastructure.
