Audiologist/Clinical Scientist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Scientist in Audiology to join our team at the Children's Hearing Centre, St Michaels Hospital in Bristol.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric audiology and be able to provide high-quality clinical services to children and their families.
The role will involve working collaboratively with the audiology team to provide diagnosis, treatment planning, and hearing aid fitting for babies and children of all ages.
The post holder will be based at St Michael's Hospital, Bristol, and will be part of a team that provides a range of audiological services, including newborn hearing screening, paediatric ENT, and hearing implant programmes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide patient-centred care, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with children and their families.
- Work collaboratively with the audiology team to provide high-quality clinical services.
- Contribute to the maintenance of high-quality audiological services by adhering to standards and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance to less experienced staff and contribute to the professional development of the team.
- BSc/MSc in Audiology or equivalent qualification.
- Registered with the HCPC or AHCS.
- Significant post-degree experience in any area of Audiology with a specialist interest in paediatric audiology.
- Highly specialised knowledge of paediatric audiology acquired through a combination of in-depth experience and post-graduate/post-registration training.
