Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist (Audiology) to join our Paediatric Audiologist team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality audiological services to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centred care, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with children and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with the audiology team, supporting a positive team culture and providing guidance to less experienced staff.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of high-quality audiological services by adhering to standards and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Significant post-degree experience in Audiology with a specialist interest in Paediatric Audiology.
  • Highly specialised knowledge of Paediatric Audiology acquired through a combination of in-depth experience and post-graduate/post-registration training.
  • Experience undertaking clinical audit and/or research.
  • Autonomous, self-directed practitioner able to complete duties and responsibilities without direct supervision.
Qualifications and Training
  • BSc/MSc in Audiology or equivalent qualification.
