Audiologist/Clinical Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Scientist in Audiology to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric audiology and be able to provide high-quality clinical services to children and their families.
Job Summary:The Clinical Scientist in Audiology will be responsible for providing clinical services to children with hearing impairments, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and hearing aid fitting. The post holder will work closely with the paediatric audiology team to ensure effective communication and collaboration with children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical services to children with hearing impairments, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and hearing aid fitting.
- Work closely with the paediatric audiology team to ensure effective communication and collaboration with children and their families.
- Contribute to the maintenance of high-quality audiological services by adhering to standards and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance to less experienced staff and contribute to the professional development of the team.
- Significant post-degree experience in any area of Audiology with a specialist interest in paediatric audiology.
- Highly specialised knowledge of paediatric audiology acquired through a combination of in-depth experience and post-graduate/post-registration training.
- Experience undertaking clinical audit and/or research.
