Job Introduction
We are seeking a skilled Parts Advisor to join our VW Commercial Dealership in Droitwich. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 18:00, with Saturdays on a rota basis.
The basic salary is up to £28,000, with an OTE up to £30,300, plus benefits.
A Parts Advisor plays a crucial role in interacting with various departments, including sales, service, and customers. You will be responsible for supplying VW parts to the general public, trade customers, and our own workshops.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual with experience and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service for one of the world's leading car brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Work behind the scenes receiving deliveries and at the front desk serving customers.
- Pre-pick parts for workshop job cards, pick parts for customer orders, and check availability of stock from various enquiries.
- Develop customer relationships through good product knowledge and create an effective first impression through in-bound and out-bound telephone enquiries, walk-in customers, and internet enquiries.
- Ensure consumables and service parts are regularly replenished, providing a swift service to our workshop and other departments, as well as our trade/retail customers.
- Handle warranty claims processing (relating to parts issues) and complete all relevant administration promptly and accurately (including customer records and invoicing).
- Develop knowledge of our premium VW products to understand the purpose of vehicle parts and how they function.
About You
- We are looking for someone with previous experience working as a parts advisor within a dealership or gained motor factor knowledge in a similar role with another franchise or specialist parts company.
- However, if you have a good understanding of cars and the ability to learn, we are happy to train the right candidate.
- The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers.
- You should be proactive, sales-driven, and maintain an outstanding level of customer service.
- You must have excellent communication and organisational skills while working well in a fast-paced environment.
- A professional individual who is able to work towards tight deadlines.
