About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our team at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide a high-quality, responsive service for patients with neuromusculoskeletal/orthopaedic conditions related to pregnancy and/or women's health problems.
Key Responsibilities
You will be clinically responsible for a designated caseload of patients/clients and will organise this effectively and efficiently with regard to clinical priorities and use of time.
You will undertake a comprehensive assessment of women's health patients/clients with antenatal and/or postnatal musculoskeletal conditions and patients with gynaecological or urological problems using a range of recognised and specialised clinical assessment techniques.
You will determine a diagnosis and prognosis through the application of clinical reasoning skills and specialist knowledge of physiological and pathological processes and syndromes, with neuromusculoskeletal/Orthopaedic conditions related to pregnancy and/or to women's health problems related to pelvic floor muscle dysfunction and/or other urological or gynaecological conditions.
Person Specification
- Current relevant professional registration (HCPC Registration)
- Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
- Post graduate experience working as a pelvic health specialist
