About the Role:

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Inpatient Therapy Team as a Therapy Support Worker.

As a key member of our team, you will work alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for delivering therapeutic healthcare services, including manual handling, mobilisation, and supporting activities of daily living. Your positive and organised approach to rehabilitation and multidisciplinary teamwork will be essential in providing safe, empathetic, and supportive care to our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working full-time hours (37.5 hours) on Tuesday to Saturday between 08:30 and 16:30
  • Providing therapy interventions under the direction of therapists over 7 days
  • Supporting assessment, intervention, and timely discharge planning of adult patients across the inpatient therapy wards within Rotherham Hospital

Requirements:

  • Evidence of NVQ level 3 in a relevant field or equivalent
  • Functional skills level 2 Maths & English if not already qualified at GCSE or equivalent level
  • Ability to travel independently across the county and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Estimated Salary Range: £29,130 - £33,840 per year
