Senior Night Support Specialist

We are Forward, the social enterprise that empowers people to break the cycle of crime or addiction to move forward with their lives.

The Senior Night Support Specialist will work on a rotating rota of day, evening, and waking night shifts. The role involves providing general support to male and female clients as part of a 24/7 residential rehabilitation unit, including:

  • Providing oversight, training, and support to the Night Team, ensuring the safe delivery of assisted self-administration of medication for service users.
  • Facilitating and recording a monthly night shift team meeting.
  • Organising monthly night shift/weekend rotas in consultation with the Service Manager.
  • Providing/arranging cover for any gaps in the rota to ensure continuity of service.
  • Assisting in the induction and training of team members, including observations of medication administration.
  • Participating in an overnight and weekend on-call rota.

This role requires a HCA Level 3 Qualification and ability to work alone using own initiative. The successful candidate will have understanding of and commitment to the principles of equality and diversity, confidentiality, and health and safety.
