About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team at Kantar's Profiles division. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in shaping the foundational infrastructure that powers our digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize deployment pipelines to ensure seamless delivery of software solutions.
  • Architect and orchestrate cloud resources to support the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve the overall platform experience.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software engineering practices and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform platform strategy and roadmap.
Requirements
  • Strong software development engineering experience with a focus on cloud-based systems.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Rust, or Golang).
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to recognize, measure, and mitigate risk.
  • Experience with Agile SDLC methodologies and practices.
  • Comfortable using the Linux command line in everyday work.
  • Exposure to event streaming platforms such as Kafka, Pulsar, or AWS Kinesis.
  • Knowledge of cyber security technologies and principles.
