About the Job

This SEN Teaching Assistant position requires a caring and compassionate individual who can provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to adapt lesson plans and ensure students receive the support they need to thrive academically.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop personalized learning plans
  • Provide support to students with physical disabilities in mainstream classes
  • Monitor and record student progress, attending review meetings as needed
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support
Requirements:
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualifications, such as HLTA
  • Previous experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding policies
