We are seeking a skilled Sports Coach/Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at Empowering Learning, a renowned educational institution partnering with an Alternative Provision in Sheffield. This is a temporary to permanent position, commencing in January, with an estimated salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess experience working with children, particularly those with special needs and challenging behaviors. Responsibilities include providing personalized support to students with autism and other special needs, assisting with daily tasks, and collaborating with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide one-on-one or small group support in the classrooms, contributing to the students' academic and social development.
  2. Assist students with daily tasks, such as personal care and hygiene.
  3. Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
