Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Tunnel Specialist to join our team as a High-Performance Test Technician.

About the Role:

  • This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team responsible for the smooth technical operation of our state-of-the-art wind tunnel facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate and maintain bench test rigs for system checking.
  2. Record data and document experimental methods, configurations, and procedures.
  3. Collate tunnel metrics to report on tunnel health and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in one or more of the following: wind tunnel systems and aerodynamic testing, high-level motorsport or automotive research and testing environments, mechanical engineering, electrical or electronic engineering, systems engineering.
  • Strong background in engineering, effective communication, ability to work under pressure.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £52,000 - £62,000 per annum.
  • Flexible approach to working hours including shift work and occasional weekends.
