CV-Library is recruiting for a Trainee Residential Childcare Assessor (CYPF) to work with learners and help them achieve their goals. The successful candidate will have a passion for childcare and education and will be committed to delivering high-quality training and assessment services.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Residential Children's Home setting and hold a level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare, or Early Years Childcare (or equivalent/higher). They will also be confident with Maths and English and ideally have own GCSE's or equivalent in Maths and English.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time permanent position and includes an excellent benefits package, bonus, pension, expenses, and much more.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and support learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5
  • Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2
  • Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted
  • Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress
  • Support, advise, and motivate learners
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs
