Mechanical Engineer Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Euro-Projects Recruitment Ltd. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the mechanical design of new and existing products, creating Bill of Materials, and product development activities.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Support the mechanical design of new and existing products
* Create Bill of Materials
* Product development activities from a technical input, considering life cycle, cost, and other practicalities
* CE marking and compliance / quality related activities
* Work closely with manufacturing, acknowledging production processes and how they may affect designs (DFM / Design for Manufacturing)

**Requirements**

* Proven experience within a mechanical engineering position, preferably within an SME
* Design / Development experience of engineering systems / machinery
* Hold a formal engineering qualification
* Have an inquisitive mindset and passion for engineering
