About the Role

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Rheumatologist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our Rheumatology service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic Rheumatology services to patients
  • Share clinical responsibility for cases with consultant colleagues
  • Ensure effective service delivery across the wider team
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical record keeping
  • Participate in clinical audit and governance
  • Engage in continuing professional development

Person Specification

  • MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
  • Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practise and entry on GMC specialist Register or within six months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) at time of interview

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Specialist interest or additional qualifications in other areas of specialty
  • Experience in a similar post
