About This Early Years Deputy Manager Role


We are looking to appoint a highly experienced Deputy Manager to lead our team at Stepping Stones Day Nursery, part of Rose Villa and Stepping Stones Day Nursery.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and support the team to ensure high standards of care and learning
  • Be well-organised to manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery
  • Ensure a deep understanding and implementation of the EYFS curriculum
  • Take a proactive lead in safeguarding and ensure embedding of policies and procedures
  • Promote high standards of care and foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and external agencies

Requirements:



  • Hold a relevant Level 3 or above Early Years Qualification
  • Have at least 2 years of experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Nursery Nurse
  • Ideal candidate will hold a paediatric first aid qualification
  • Have good knowledge of Ofsted requirements and the EYFS curriculum

Working Hours:



  • 10 hour shifts
  • 8 hour shifts
  • Day shifts
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
