About the Position

We are seeking an accomplished Early Years Development Manager to lead our efforts in improving quality across our nurseries. This is a key role that requires someone with a deep understanding of EYFS best practice and a proven ability to drive positive change.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of strategies to enhance quality, ensuring compliance with EYFS welfare requirements and monitoring progress.

This is a field-based role requiring significant travel and occasional overnight stays. The ideal candidate will be able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs.

About the Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 per annum, plus pension benefits, reflecting the importance of this role in driving quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and implementation of strategies to enhance quality.
  • Monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies.
  • Collaborate with Area Managers and specialist teams to ensure consistency in approach.
  • Provide written reports to stakeholders on progress and recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or similar senior-level position.
  • Extensive knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted's Early Years Inspection Framework.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working at a senior level in Early Years education.
  • Full clean driving licence and ability to use a vehicle.
