Central London Veterinary Support Assistant

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Elizabeth Street Veterinary Clinic in Central London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
- Booking appointments and arrivals on the RX Works diary
- Promoting our Healthcare Plan to ensure pets receive premium discounted preventative treatment
- Booking follow-up appointments for pets after their initial consultation
- Assisting the Vet and Nurse team with queries
- Scanning paperwork onto pets' digital records
- Liaising with clients regarding appointment booking and medication collection
- Ordering food and medication
- Processing payments immediately after treatment and handling 0% finance applications for larger operations
- Managing a busy reception desk efficiently and professionally
About You:
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the Veterinary or Medical Industry
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
