Education Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Coordinator to join our team at Margaret Clitherow Trust. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in empowering children to reach their full potential and meet their aspirations.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with children, families, and agencies to secure educational placements, SEN provision, consistent attendance, and achievement.
- Develop strong relationships with education providers to tackle education inequalities and secure the best outcomes for children within communities.
- Empower children to reach their potential by working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
We are looking for a candidate who is committed to achieving excellent outcomes for clients and aligned with the vision and values of the charity. The successful candidate will be warm and compassionate, yet also able to demonstrate healthy boundaries and professionalism.
They will have experience of successful work with children and an understanding of education systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as sound IT skills, are essential. Resilience and a sense of humour are also a must.

We are a relaxed and collaborative team with a big sense of humour. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment with some home working and office-based work at Badgemore Park, Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire. Some visits to clients throughout parts of Southern England are also required.
The role is part-time, 0.6fte, 24 hours per week, with the opportunity to combine this role with the Health and Social Care Coordinator vacancy. The salary is £17,184 p.a. (£28,643 fte.), and benefits include a pension scheme, personal training budget, and generous paid holiday equivalent to 7 weeks plus bank holidays.
Please note that we will be interviewing on a rolling basis, so it is advisable to submit your application as soon as you are able. Applicants must have use of their own car and a valid UK driving license. An enhanced DBS check will be required as part of the recruitment process.
