We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Front of House Receptionist.
Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service to patients and staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the reception area, handling phone calls, and assisting with administrative tasks.
About the RoleAs a Front of House Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, making a positive impression on their experience with our practice.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing appointments, and ensuring a smooth flow of information between teams.
Responsibilities- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean and well-organized at all times.
- Handle phone calls, respond to queries, and direct calls to relevant staff members.
- Process patient registrations, update records, and maintain confidentiality.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, photocopying, and filing.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above - or equivalent).
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
Absolutely essential skills include:
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Clear, polite telephone manner.
- Competent in the use of Office and Outlook.
- Effective time management (planning and organizing).
- Ability to work as a team member and autonomously.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to follow policy and procedure.
