About the Role
As a Shift Leader at Tesco, you'll play a key role in supporting our customers and colleagues.
We're looking for someone to oversee store operations, ensuring a clean and well-stocked environment that meets customer expectations. You'll be responsible for coordinating the team, providing excellent customer service, and identifying opportunities to improve service delivery.
This is a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills, working closely with our management team to drive business performance and achieve sales targets. You'll also have the chance to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a variety of tasks and challenges every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate duty shifts, leading by example and setting high standards for yourself and the team
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues promptly
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, suggesting new initiatives and processes to enhance the customer experience
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and secure working environment
- Maintain a strong understanding of store performance, providing insights and recommendations to support business growth
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of £14.28 per hour, increasing to £15.41 for stores within the M25 area. You'll also receive additional payments based on location and skills. As a Shift Leader, you'll benefit from a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, with opportunities to work flexible hours if desired.
