Job Title: Hosting Service Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Hosting Service Manager to join our team at BAE Systems. As a Hosting Service Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery and management of hosting services, ensuring high standards of technical services to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver hosting services, ensuring accountability for the management and delivery of contracted hosting services.
  • Provide service assurance from supplier into all business groups, ensuring that service definitions documents for managed hosting services are maintained and current.
  • Responsible for the delivery and management of change across hosting services, supporting the Tower Service Manager to meet required outcomes.
  • Owning knowledge and familiar with hosting services and products under management.
  • Ensuring service demand information flows between key stakeholders and that service capacity is appropriate to meet future demand.
  • Responsibility for the management of hosting service risks, ensuring that these are appropriately communicated to the Tower Manager and mitigation actions are developed and implemented.
  • Supporting customer and supplier escalations and complaints relative to the managed service to effective conclusion.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Server and Storage technologies.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of current Server infrastructure and products.
  • Understanding of SIAM and ITIL processes.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, including various levels of technical competency.
  • Good understanding of contract management, including budgetary requirements.
