Futures is a well-established electronics manufacturer with an impressive product range and a talented, stable design team. We seek to appoint an experienced Power Electronics Design Engineer to work on electronic hardware designs for multiple projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong analogue design skills, excellent knowledge of power supplies, and some experience in embedded systems.

As a member of our experienced team, you will work on a variety of exciting projects, often under tight deadlines. You will be responsible for developing analogue and power electronics-based systems, PCB layout & circuitry, prototyping and testing, and manufacturing scale-up.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A HND/Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience with the design of power supplies, inverters, and control electronics
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment designing practical products that are to be made
  • Basic mechanical engineering knowledge
  • A good working knowledge of analogue power supply engineering

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
