Job Title: Employment Law Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Specialist to lead our Employment Law department as Head of Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing a team of employment lawyers and providing expert legal advice and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a team of employment lawyers, providing leadership, guidance, and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Provide expert legal advice and support to clients on all aspects of employment law, including but not limited to, disciplinary and grievance procedures, employment contracts, discrimination, and dismissal.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and providing excellent customer service.
  • Oversee the department's budgetary control and ensure that financial targets are met.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the firm to deliver an integrated and seamless service to clients.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in employment law and ensure that team members are informed of any changes that may affect clients.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in Employment Law.
  • Experience in managing and developing a team of lawyers.
  • Strong technical knowledge of employment law and a track record of delivering high-quality legal advice.
