Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a procurement strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business objectives.
- Lead the Procurement Excellence team in delivering class-leading, digitally enabled ways of working across all source to contract activity, governance, and decision-making.
- Develop and manage the Procurement Capability and Talent Pipeline to ensure the team has the necessary skills and expertise to deliver the procurement strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in procurement practices.
- Develop and implement a robust functional capability framework and associated training and learning offerings to ensure the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver the procurement strategy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in procurement leadership roles, with a strong track record of delivering procurement strategies that drive efficiency, effectiveness, and financial savings.
- Deep knowledge and experience in procurement roles and working practices, with a strong understanding of procurement systems, data, and digital strategies.
- Excellent leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong programme management skills, with experience of leading teams and delivering complex projects.
- Experience of capability building within teams, with a strong understanding of training and learning needs.
