Job Title: HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at City Facilities Management. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems across multiple sites.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial gas and heating engineering, with experience working in a multi-site environment. You will be responsible for carrying out service and maintenance on HVAC assets, including air handling units, gas fired heating systems, and heat pump systems.

You will also be responsible for identifying non-repairable faults and making recommendations for replacement. In addition, you will be expected to work in a dynamic business environment, adapting to changing priorities and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out service and maintenance on HVAC assets, including air handling units, gas fired heating systems, and heat pump systems.
  2. Identify non-repairable faults and make recommendations for replacement.
  3. Work in a dynamic business environment, adapting to changing priorities and delivering outstanding customer service.
  4. Respond promptly and positively to service call/alarm requests from the central Helpdesk.
  5. Update the call and job status afterwards.
Requirements:
  1. Recognized Commercial Gas qualifications, including at least 4 of the following: COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1.
  2. F Gas qualified.
  3. 17th or 18th Edition (desirable).
  4. Professional, pleasant, friendly, flexible, courteous, and helpful at all times.
  5. Positive approach, able to work in a dynamic business environment.
  6. Experience of HVAC/Gas in a multi-site environment.
  7. Full Driving Licence and willing to travel on a daily basis.
